Seung-gyeom Kim

Bio

I am a Ph.D. student advised by Prof. Sukmin Yun at the Vision AI Lab (VAIL), Hanyang University. Previously, I worked with Prof. Yongjae Yoo on human-computer interaction (HCI) research. My research focuses on spatial and spatiotemporal modeling (e.g., world models, 3D/4D representation learning), aiming to represent and reason about dynamic signals across space and time. I am also interested in low-bit training (e.g., STE-based optimization, BitNet-based quantization) and lightweight methods for resource-efficient on-device adaptation and continual updates in changing physical environments. More broadly, I am motivated to develop human-centered AI systems with social impact, including assistive applications that benefit underserved users.
